Abstract Assemblage

 

 

These ferocious works of art reveal the artist's reaction to the dehumanizing mechanisms of society.

Void of color, these works of art reveal how the artist attacts the surface of the painting by mutilating the canvas, slashing, ripping, suturing and knotting forms to the exterior and interior of the painting.

Needles and other instruments are frequently left in the work of art. The three dimensional results of her unusal techniques are sometimes combined with trompe l' oeil painting providing a disorienting experience for the viewer.
